Serving on the board of a non-profit can be a very rewarding experience. We hope you will consider this carefully. NEDA is a new organization and has some exciting and ground-breaking work to do. We are looking for a wide variety of skills, from strategic planning to social media to communications. You need not be an end-of-life doula to apply yet you must be a current NEDA member. We are especially looking for those who can devote time and effort to building this organization and who have a good grasp of what it means to be on a non-profit board. This is a working board of volunteers who are expected to attend all meetings and regularly do work on their own in between meeting times. All meetings take place on-line in our Zoom.us virtual meeting room.

The National End-of-Life Doula Alliance welcomes board members from diverse backgrounds who are interested in furthering the NEDA mission. Our open application process runs from August 1 - September 1 when we replenish the board for the coming year. Watch for notices about open application periods in our newsletter as well.

Become a Volunteer

The Board of Directors welcomes volunteers who are current members of NEDA willing and able to serve on a committee(s). Please contact the appropriate committee chairperson below to express your interest and also complete the NEDA Volunteer Form.
