Welcome! Thank you for considering becoming a member of NEDA to both strengthen your practice and support other end-of-life doulas. The National End-of-Life Doula Alliance is a membership organization that supports all doulas who are eager to share in this important work. It is our intention to tailor membership levels to meet your individual needs and talents, and to provide benefits that have lasting value. Above all, we hope to provide a place where we can build a community of practice that respects and connects doulas of all orientations and backgrounds.

All members at the End-of-Life Doula, Doula Trainer, and Doula/Trainer Combo levels enjoy the following standard benefits:
  • Listing in the appropriate NEDA Membership Directory on the website
  • Our monthly newsletter
  • Special email updates and press releases
  • Membership level specific webinars, interactive forums
  • Member logo for your written materials
  • Our regular Facebook posts
  • Access to NEDA's closed members-only Facebook group where monthly webinars are located 
  • Satisfaction in knowing that you are supporting end-of-life doulas!

Friend/Supporter and Corporation/Organization level members receive the monthly NEDA newsletter and listing in the appropriate NEDA Directory on the website.

Please do the following:
  1. Read our Mission, Vision, and Values
  2. Read our Scope of Practice
  3. Review the membership levels below
  4. Click on the title of the membership type that best applies to you; complete the application form and make your payment. Your information will be added to the appropriate directory (if you wish to be listed) within 48 hours. 
  5. Your credit card will be renewed automatically on your sign-up date to ensure your membership for the next year.

Open to anyone who self-identifies as an EOLD, either volunteer or paid, regardless of training and experience

  • Listing in the EOLD Directory with name, location (one state and country), email, phone, website, photo
  • Listing also includes credentials such as the NEDA Proficient, if applicable, and other types of professional degree letters (please  e.g., BA, RN, PhD, DD, SW, etc.) Please note: we do not add EOLD or CEOLD as there is no national certification or professional credential.
  • Discounts on events and other NEDA networking opportunities when available
  • Access to a private Facebook page where monthly member-only webinars are located
Doula Trainer
Open to EOL Doula trainers

  • Listing in the Trainer Directory with name, location (One state and country), email, phone, website, photo, and NEDA Proficient, if applicable
  • Listing of training program details and credentials (total of 360 characters)
  • Discounts on events and other NEDA offerings when available
Doula/Trainer Combo
Open to Doula Trainers who also practice as an EOLD

  • Includes all the benefits of both individual categories

Corporations and Organizations
Open to corporations and organizations that wish to contribute to and support the mission of NEDA

  • Listing in the Corporate Directory with corporate logo and one contact person's name and email, plus company phone and website
